THC Dry & Cure Lab

Track weight loss, time, temperature and relative humidity through drying and curing while keeping environmental measurements separate from subjective readiness checks.

Drying checkpoint

Measurement boundaries

Weight change, room RH and subjective stem feel are not substitutes for a validated moisture or water-activity measurement when product safety or storage stability must be established.

Record the curve. A sequence of measurements is more useful than one final number.

Staged dry / cure program

Build a repeatable three-stage environmental program. “Slope” means gradually transition between stage setpoints; “Step” means hold each stage until the next stage begins. These are planning targets, not hardware commands.

Actual vs active program

Comparison uses the current staged program inputs and elapsed hours. Step mode holds each stage setpoint; slope mode linearly transitions toward the next stage setpoint during the entered stage duration. These are program comparisons, not product-safety limits.

Vapor-pressure & water-activity context

Room vapor pressure is calculated from measured room temperature and RH. Vapor-pressure deficit here means the air saturation deficit at room temperature; it is not leaf VPD. Measured water activity is reported separately because product aw cannot be inferred from room RH or weight loss alone.

—Room vapor pressure kPa
—Air saturation deficit kPa
—Temp − dew point °C
—Measured aw / ERH context

Water activity requires an appropriate measurement method; equilibrium RH ≈ aw × 100 only describes an equilibrium relationship and is not a substitute for direct product measurement.

Dry / cure trend

Review a saved lot across time. Temperature, dew point and RH can overlay the program target that was saved with each checkpoint; weight and water-activity views remain measurement-only.

—min / max
—latest

Save at least two checkpoints to build a long-history trend.

Cross-lot comparison

Compare the full saved run summary plus the latest endpoint for two lots. Differences in sampling frequency, elapsed coverage, starting material, measurement method and program mean these values are context—not proof that one drying program is better.

Connected dry / cure provider

Load normalized temperature, RH, dew-point-capable telemetry, and water activity from the same-origin provider gateway when a compatible provider/device is configured. Provider credentials remain on the server. This page performs read-only requests and never controls drying hardware.

—provider
0mapped metrics
—latest observation
No authenticated provider loaded.
This requires the same-origin telemetry gateway to be deployed with provider credentials stored on the server.
