Condensation check
Use it during transitions
Check surfaces during lights-off, cold-weather events, HVAC cycling and drying-room transitions. Condensation depends on the actual local surface temperature—not simply the room setpoint.
Interpretation: a surface at or below dew point can accumulate condensation if moisture reaches it.
How to read the condensation margin
> 2 °Csurface comfortably above dew point
0–2 °Cclose to dew point; small local changes matter
≤ 0 °Csurface at/below dew point; condensation is physically possible
Dew point is the temperature at which air at the entered moisture content reaches saturation. This calculator uses the shared cultivation math engine. It is a physical condensation-risk check, not a disease diagnosis and not a universal environmental target.
